What is VMAX furniture? Quality, Affordable, and $200 are not quite the same. You can get Quality work, Affordable work, or $200 work. (If we are talking about painting an entire bike here.)

I saw some folks advertising 300 dollar custom paintjobs on craigslist.Cant remember the website..., I'm new so I thought if not a custom frilly paintjob, just black maybe it'll be around 200 or so.

As for VMAX furniture and plastics,I'm referring to the scoops, fake tank and belly scoops.
Any advice will be appreciated...
Cheers

There are several motorcycle specific paint shops in Atlanta. A lot of auto body shops wont mess with bikes because they are just not profitable in comparison to their industry. Some shops will charge up to $700 + to just paint a gas tank for a bike, nevertheless fenders and side covers. It comes down to quality of paint used, preparation required, detail of paint, and time spent in finish work.

Now on to the reality of colors. BLACK paint is the most difficult to spray for any painter. Black paint is difficult to own as a biker. Black shows every imperfection in bodywork and painted surfaces. It also shows dirt faster and more noticeably than other colors.

Standard one color paint jobs at my shop will run you $850+ for full fairing sport bikes, $550+ for cruisers (Tank, fenders x2, side covers).

You can buy single stage Nason brand paint and spray your tins for $200 but it will definitely reflect the amount of time spent on prep as well as the amount of money spent on paint.

When I began painting bikes I used Nason and other cheap paints to cut costs down and provide what I thought was an affordable alternative to custom paint prices. I advertised on craigslist and painted from my home garage.

As a full service repair facility that I have grown to become I can tell you that I didnt get here by using cheap products and cutting corners. My advice to individuals seeking new paint, customizations, and the like is that if you cant afford to do it the right way then save up until you can. It not only reflects on your vehicle but on the person who did the work as well.

2. Fast
3. Cheap

You can only pick two.....
