I snapped this today with the D40. I'm still figuring it out, but I thought this was a great picture of little Desmo, especially for me.
Desmo is 100% back to normal now since his surgery and it's so great to watch him running and jumping without pain! Karen gave us a set of doggie stairs (thank you, again!!) that he uses to get onto the bed without putting too much strain on his knees and he loves it. He's even jumping on the couch again! I was naturally a little upset about the cost of the surgery, but it was the best money we've ever spent. :)
Enjoy!

Megan, i feel your pain on the surgery. Our little pup, Levi, is just 7 months old, and for the last 2 weeks, he's been limping around not putting any weight on his right front leg. Doc said it COULD be growing pains and if it didnt get any better in a week or so to bring him back, that it would be something other than growing pains. So we take him Tues. to be sedated and get xrays to find out whats up. Im praying its just a pulled ligament or something and he doesnt need surgery. But it really is a pitiful sight to watch him limping around (which has gotten worse and worse). At 7 months old, he should be bouncing around like a rubber ball, but all he does lately is just lay around and sleep cus it hurts him too much to be acting like the puppy he is. :(

Meghan, that's great to hear Desmo's doing better. The steps really sound like a great idea to keep the stress off.
Todd, so sorry to hear about Levi. Let us know how it goes.
Seca, I'm halfway tempted to drive to Flowery Branch to come slap you in the back of your damn head for posting that, you sick bastard!
