Pick one up from Walmart, it'll last for years.

Go to the motorcycle/atv battery section and get one for sportbikes that's close to the same size and has the same terminal connections as your old one.

If you want your battery to last put it on a tender. Wal Mart batteries have 6 month or limited life time on them. You can always find a wal mart to exchange it.
Realistic lifetime on a battery is probably 3 - 5 years.

The only battery that has more juice is a Lemon with a steel nail in one end and a copper nail in the other end.

Just take your battery with you to WalMart and get one that is physically close to the same size and one with the terminals on the same sides as what you have. You shouldnt have to spend more than $50 on a battery. The one in my bike was $37.
I cant recall seeing any batteries there for that little. Most are still $55+ at the wal mart by me.

    Todd,

Cost ranges in price between $35 to $60 depending on what size you battery has. I ended up going to a Tire lube Walmart and they found the battery size for me tho mine cost $60 . Yamaha bikes seemed to have a taller battery as I recalled on the R1. Johnson controls produced the battery and they seem to be of good quality materials plus Cr reports rated them very high so that gets my approval too.

Now keep it on a battery tender when it's going to be sitting for a while and it should last you close to 5 yrs.
