Where to get your Bike maintenanced?

    Hello..

Picked me up an 08 R1 several months ago, and now joining GSB. I was a member before but looks like my account was deleted. I'm kinda new to this area.. With Winter in the air, my R1 has been sitting in my garage collecting dust.

Before I take it out again in 2013, I want to get my maintenances up to date.. Probably fluid flushes, oil change, and preferrably a wash.

Where do you go get it done? I live in Suwanee/Duluth area, so I'm about 40 mins away from the city. If you guys could point me to the right direction, I'd appreciate it!

Sounds good. I just don't wanna go to a shop that does half-assed jobs. So I was looking for a reputable shop. I'm also looking to lower my bike as well. I'm 5'7 and tippy toeing at a light isn't a big deal... but would like a better control of it... Do you guys lower bikes too?

Nothing that you had listed is hard. Might be worth it to learn.

Marietta Motorsports in Marietta is the only shop I'd let mess with my suspension.

He'll do it right and not half-assed.
Ride free and live hard because you’ll never know when you’ll be called up for that final ride.

+1 - He is a little farther away than everyone else but does a great job. Livengood knows suspension like no one else also.

    More than I need
    Marietta Motorsportso for Dyno/motor work
    Thermosman for suspension work
    Livingood for motor builds/motorwork
CaylorMade Motorsports for motor/general bike work
Hotwheels for paint work (John Holt)

Lorne has a good reputation as well, but I'm a west side snob, so haven't even been out to see him.

Livingood has good rep for motors, but I finally found a motor guy that is top notch, and not too well known. Well he is in old school racer crowds, but thats it. AND, I'm not sharing! LOL
