    Carb sync help

I am still new to the motorcycle world but took the bike apart and cleaned up the carbs and replaced some things but not sure I know how to sync the carbs. One I don't have the tools to do it and two I am just not exactly sure what I am looking for. Is there anyone near the Buford area who wouldn't mind maybe stopping by and helping me with this?

Call Lorne at over two customs, he's right down the road from you in Lawrenceville. He does top notch work at a fair price!

Your looking for a manometer. If you can't find anyone to loan you one, google a DIY version. You could make one in 5 minutes.

It does run but just not very well. I have to keep on the gas a little to keep her alive and I get a popping out of the exhaust :(

Everything you need to make one can be found either in your garage or at autozone. The one I made well.... I tried to sync the throttle bodies on my R1 and I could not for the life of me get the four lines even not even close so I don't know if I had a leak or I did something else wrong. The whole process is fairly simple. I suggest just buying a manometer. What bike do you have? However many carbs it has you will need that many lines.

Did you ever figure out how to sync your carbs? There should be 4 vacuum hoses coming off the carbs, one for each carb. that's where you plug the lines in from the manometer. You adjust one at a time slight changes will make a big differences. And of course you have to do this while its running. There should be a screw on the throttle bodies that can be screwed in or out those are what you tinker with to raise or lower the fluid levels in the manometer.
