You're not going to beat a no helmet ticket because of the laws wording.

ah i see protective head gear is what i heard. my issue was this. friend broke down. i gave them my gear because i "feel" i can control my bike but not other cagers so i want them safe and i was going a short distance. i "heard" (see this is where i get in trouble) if you have head protection you would be ok so i used my sweat beane thing and went slow but doraville got me. no head or eyes 2 tickets. i tryed explaining but no so ok. i did not know about eyes so i will pay but i "thought" the law stated head protectiction in ga and it does but APPROVED i see now. oh well i shall pay. thank you. i live i learn. it suchs for helping a friend. anyone know the cost?

FWIW - I would have and have done the same thing in a pinch. I am responsible for my passenger, they get the gear.
