I know you aren't serious.. but.. two strokes are awful street bikes.

    And done.

Those ****ers have magical pricing on Honda's compared to anyone else in the lower 48.
I had a tire give up on a long trip earlier this year. Thankfully, I was on my way to Chattanooga and started googling/calling around to find a tire. I stumbled onto Southern Honda with no idea about the shop. They had the tire I needed in stock and said that so long as I got there before the closed, they would get the tire mounted for me. It was interesting that when I asked about the tire, they said 'the new one, or the prior generation'. I had to look at my tire to tell.

While they were changing the tire, I wandered around their store. It is freaking huge. They had 100+ Goldwings on the floor, and probably another 500 other bikes on the floor. Maybe more. It was the largest dealership I have ever been in. One of the guys said that they were the largest Honda dealer (I can't recall if he said in the world or in the US, but I would believe either).

They were super nice folks to boot.

Now, back to your 'which bike do I buy' discussion.

take a close look at new yam r3... looks like they took a step back in time and put the shock linkage pushrod behind the shock instead of underneath. apparently due to cat. c. being down there. shame to put 41mm forks on the bike, then do that. i can see people going to full systems, then trying to find bottom link off other bikes that will fit. r6 linkage maybe?

you think so? i don't like looks of it as much as kawi 300, but r3 has 41mm forks, bigger motor, gear pos indicator, and better clipons that dont cover fork ends like the kawi "fake" clipons, so it's easier to add adjusters, etc.
