    ATTN: 04-07 CBR1000RR Riders...

What do you use for coolant and how high do your temps get?

I changed over to Water Wetter last summer, but my dumbass forgot to pay attention to my temps before, so I have nothing to compare my current temps to (I feel like it is running hotter than it should). My dumbassery continues with this thread because I do not remember what my current temps are (obviously I don't ride enough LOL)...but I think I am seeing temps in the range of 230 which I think is higher than I was seeing with regular coolant.

If you are only street riding just put what the manufacturer recommends. You can then add water wetter to that to reduce temps. The fans on my 09R1 dont kick on until 220 stock. I had it programmed to kick on at 195 now though.

On my old 04, 225-230 on a hot day in traffic is what mine would always be at on the street. Cruising down the road would be anywhere between 176-186. Stop and go traffic with a little relief between lights would stay 195-215. Fan on at 225
