    sales

    if someone bought an $8000 motorcycle from you and was happy about it, would you

    a. give them a promotional tee shirt = free advertising

    b. wait till they ask for one, then give it to them

    c. wait till they ask for one, then say you will, but then never do

    if you pick c. please explain, because I really don't understand how this is supposed to help sales...

    and the shirt isn't $11.... they probably run $4-6 depending on exactly what it is...

    not pissed at all. just think if i was in the business of selling bikes and i had a happy customer i would want them wearing my tee shirt and telling everyone what a great deal they got at my dealership. so, i just asked, hey, could i have a tee shirt? sure, so-n-so will mail you one. needless to say, no shirt ever came. i could care less really.
