Nope. And Mark (MX Tuner on the board) would never charge anyone a grand for a set of tires anyway.

It's actually $32.99 after taxes and the disposal fee.

Worst tire rip-off I've personally suffered: Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson. I mentioned to a guy who works there that I was heading somewhere else to get a pair of tires mounted. He said, "Off the bike? Man, it's only $40." I was shocked because that's a great price, and Harley isn't know for great prices. I dropped the wheels off with them, and I was really ticked off when I saw the bill later and realized he meant $40 (+ taxes and fees) PER WHEEL.

I'm just glad me and some friends bought a No-Mar tire changer now I can do it anytime I want and it has already paid for itself

I know what you mean. When I lived in Athens, I was charged $105.00 for mount and balance at Cycle World on Atlanta Hwy (Bogart/Athens). Its the only motorcycle dealer there. Harley, Honda, Yamaha all together. I was slightly pissed.
