    Need some post crash help

While trying to access the damage from Tally, my shift linkage rod is bent and my bike won't shift into first or pass 3rd gear. I undid the pedal end of the rod to see if I can manually just try to shift it through the gears but still no dice. Can someone tell me what else I can check to see what else needs to be replaced/fixed?

Are you turning the rear wheel as you're moving the shifter?

OK. I started the bike up and let the rear wheel move freely and it shifted through. Thanks Mark. Crisis averted.

Next time just rock the bike back and forth or rock the back wheel if it's on a stand.
